Yoga Therapy


   Yoga Therapy based practices incorporate the complete 8-limbs of yoga to reduce suffering on an individual and collective level. Yoga Therapists are specifically trained and certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and must complete 800 hours of accredited training.

   Teachers of our group studio Therapeutic Yoga, Yoga for Grief, and Yoga for Stress classes are 200-hour and 500-hour trained teachers in principles of Integrative Yoga Therapy and combine additional trainings and modalities that support the nervous system along with trauma-informed yoga.

WEEKLY CLASSES:

Deepen awareness of your own inner strength, love, wisdom, and healing power. This trauma-informed class is based in principles of Integrative Yoga Therapy, incorporating study, practice, and experience of Yoga philosophy.

Each session includes accessible movement, mantra, breath, and mudra, all interwoven with meditation and Expansion Brainspotting (led by trained and licensed mental health therapy professional, Kristin Erlec).

Class themes are centered on the elements, seasons of the year, and lessons of nature. You'll leave with resources and supportive tools to live a life where you thrive in body, mind, and soul. Class is 75 minutes and the room is a comfortable 72 degrees.

Yoga for Stress is led by Stephanie Alston, RYT500, death Doula, trauma-informed and pain care aware certified.

Grief is a natural process of living that we all experience, whether new, old, intense and fresh, or subtle and sneaky. Grief can show up as pain, crying, keeping busy, anger, or relief and joy.

Yoga practices can support the flow of grief moving through your body and mind rather than getting stuck. This class blends Yoga Therapy based practices of movement, meditation, breath, sound, and mudra along with community to help support you in thriving and not just surviving.

60 minutes. Room is a comfortable 72 degrees.

Experience an interactive Yoga session that weaves polyvagal theory of the nervous system with Integrative Yoga Therapy, philosophy, and tools for everyday life.

This class includes accessible movement that supports a theme, along with mudra, mantra, breath, and meditation.

Led by Michele Flores, RYT200 and chronic illness coach.

60 minutes. Room is a comfortable 72 degrees.

Thursdays at 10:30am

Private Yoga Therapy based sessions focus on therapeutic yoga techniques, trauma-informed and pain care aware practices, combined with principles of holistic coaching to help you create the best body-mind experience for your whole Self.
