A classical restorative yoga that is passive (not active), where we stay seated or lying down. Shapes are fully propped with bolsters and blankets, so that your body and mind can get into rest and digest mode and recalibrate the nervous system. Postures are held for 3-5 min each. ALIGN
6:30pm WED
11am SUN

75 min
This class is based on the Iyengar style and is a form of hatha yoga (static holds) for all levels that focuses on proper alignment and precise technique using lots of props for accessibility and enhancing the ability to stay in a pose for an extended period of time (blocks, bolsters, chairs, blankets and the wall).
Through slower movements and an emphasis on quality over quantity, Iyengar style yoga combines asana (postures) and pranayama (breath) to build strength, stamina, and flexibility.
Room is a comfortable 72 degrees.

Flow Foundation
11am TUES 60 min.
Flow Foundation is a 4-part mini-course that embraces the physical practice of asana (poses), emphasizing individual strategies for movement over conformity.

With practical advice and warmth, Lori will break down all the common struggles, and show you how to adapt the pose to your body and get stronger over time.

In our first four weeks we’ll cover Sun Salutation A which includes standing poses, forward folds, four limbed staff pose, cobra, downdog, updog all while integrating your breath and mindful rest. There will be central asana highlighted in each class:

Mar 21 - Chaturanga Dandasana and Bhujangasana (4-limb staff pose and cobra)
Mar 28 - Urdhva Mukha Svanasana and Adho Mukha Svanasana (Upward and Downward Facing Dog)

You’ll finish feeling confident that you're equipped with the self-knowledge and courage to try more classes.
