We are beyond thrilled to announce a wonderful evolution for our studio community—Tara is stepping into the role of co-owner of Santosha Yoga Collective! Tara’s journey as a yoga teacher, mindfulness and meditation guide, sound healer, and VITA coach has been nothing short of inspiring. She brings with her not only a wealth of experience as a business owner and entrepreneur but also an unparalleled energy of love, inclusivity, and creativity. From leading kids’ classes and chair yoga to hosting retreats and offering continuing education, Tara is truly all in. Her dedication to building community and creating transformative experiences has already touched so many lives, and we can’t wait to see her impact grow in this new role. Many of you have already experienced Tara’s nurturing spirit and bold leadership as a teacher and sound healer here at Santosha Yoga. Now, as co-owner, she brings a refreshed energy to our team and community! Her passion for yoga as an art, science, and path of healing is contagious, and she is deeply committed to making our studio a space where every body can thrive. Together, we are guiding Santosha Yoga Collective into a vibrant new season—one rooted in connection, growth, and transformation. To our incredible community: thank you for your ongoing trust, encouragement, and celebration as we take this exciting step forward. With Tara’s leadership alongside mine, we’re embracing 2025 and beyond with open hearts and limitless possibilities. Let’s celebrate Tara and this beautiful new chapter for Santosha Yoga Collective! “Santosha” is a sanskrit word that means contentment. Our Loomis-based Yoga studio brings together decades-long practitioners and new students alike. We believe Yoga is beneficial for every body and will make sure you find the right classes to support your yoga journey. With 24 weekly yoga classes from Vinyasa and Balance, to Chair, Yin, Kundalini, Iyengar, and Restore, our aim is to provide a space of contentment for students and teachers of yoga as we honor movement, holistic wellness, and community as a way of life. We serve the beautiful community of Northern California. We offer these yoga styles and many more through workshops, our community room, and themed classes. Please reach out on our “Contact Us!” page if you have a yoga theme you’d like to experience in the beautiful Santosha studio. Post written by Stephanie Alston ERYT200 and Annie Schwab RYT200.
